Transgressive vs Obscenity
Obscene humour is humour that is extremely rude or offensive. Transgressive humour is rude but not to the point of incredible offence. The Office of Communications, or OFCOM, regulates what humour can apper on TV. They have rules about racism, hate crime, protecting under 18s, pornography and excessive violence.

Keith Lemon
Keith Lemon is a fictional character played by the comedian Leigh Francis. Keith Lemon has had many shows. his most notable is 'Celebrity Juice'. Celebrity Juice is a panel show that has been running since 2008. This shows has Keith Lemon as a host and the captains Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby. They will do different, quirky challenges with other celebrities. it is usually very transgressive and appeals to adults and teenagers. This show has won many awards and regularly pulls audiences of millions. Lemon has also been in Through the Keyhole. This is a shows where he goes to a celebrities house and unveils clues. A panel of celebrities then have to guess whose it is.
Over his years on TV, Keith Lemon has built up traits and has become well known. He developed his catchphrase, 'Bang Tidy', and is known for his wacky clothes and his transgressive humour. Another panel show is Would I lie To You? again, this show has two teams and a host. In this show, the teams must say a story and the other has to guess if it is true or not. This show always has the same set so it only has to be created once.

Car Share Audience Pleasures
Car Share has many audience pleasures. Peter Kay has been in many TV shows and has done stand-up comedy for a long time. This means he will be recognised by the public and they will watch because of it. The episodes have snowballing humour. For example, episode two has the dogging joke which escalates throughout the episode, climaxing as they stop a man on the road. They also feature transgressive humour with things like the butchers advert and the dogging joke. These make it appeal to teenagers and adults. As the series advances, the audience learns more about the characters and grows with them. This increases interest and enjoyment of the show as the audience wants to learn more about the characters and how they grow throughout the series.
Most of the series is set in the car. This means the audience notices the small changes and takes pleasure from them. This is contrasted in the last episode where a long time is spent in a cafe. This is to show a change in the series and to show the series is ending. The characters in the show are relatable and have features of many people. This is to make the audience empathise with them and therefore watch the show as they see the characters as similar to themselves.Throughout the series, music is used to enhance the viewing pleasure and to create humour in places it wouldn't usually be. Then Finally, the audience learns the plot and predicts what will happen next, making it more exciting.
