Keith Lemon

Image result for celebrity juiceKeith Lemon is a fictional character played by the comedian Leigh Francis. Keith Lemon has had many shows. his most notable is 'Celebrity Juice'. Celebrity Juice is a panel show that has been running since 2008. This shows has Keith Lemon as a host and the captains Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby. They will do different, quirky challenges with other celebrities. it is usually very transgressive and appeals to adults and teenagers. This show has won many awards and regularly pulls audiences of millions. Lemon has also been in Through the Keyhole. This is a shows where he goes to a celebrities house and unveils clues. A panel of celebrities then have to guess whose it is.

Over his years on TV, Keith Lemon has built up traits and has become well known. He developed his catchphrase, 'Bang Tidy', and is known for his wacky clothes and his transgressive humour. This makes him appeal to teenage and adult audiences. Because of this, the shows he is in are always popular and attract lots of viewers.

Panel Shows

One example of a comedy panel show is Mock The Week. Mock The Week is a comedy show based on current affairs. It has a title sequence based on the news. The shows consists of the host, Dara O'Briain, and two teams consisting of three celebrity panelists. The show has multiple rounds. The first round is about current affairs, the second gives the contestant the answer and they have to guess the questions. The third round is a stand-up challenge between two of the contestants. The final round gives a scenario for the contestants, and they must come up with funny answers. The jokes on this show are aimed at adults, as many of them wouldn't be found funny by younger audiences. Mock The Week is shows on BBC2 and BBC3 at 10pm. This is because the humour is for adults and it has to be after the 9pm watershed.

TV panel shows usually don't cost that much. This is because they only need to pay for a set and for the celebrities that will be on the show that week. This means that they are very cost efficient, as they are relatively cheap compared to the income they could generate. These shows will
